The Arc Ocean County Chapter is seeking an experienced residential professional to guide evening operations at a group home for adults with IDD in Brick, NJ. As Assistant Residential Manager, you’ll support Direct Support Professionals, coordinate home needs, and ensure consistent, person-centered services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years supporting individuals with IDD in a residential setting.
• NJ driver’s license with no more than five points.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of residential services.

Responsibilities

• Guide Direct Support Professionals with practical coaching and ongoing assistance during shifts.
• Organize staffing assignments and maintain coverage within the residential program.
• Address routine workplace challenges with clear direction to staff.
• Take on operational leadership when the Residential Program Manager is unavailable.
