Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter in New Jersey is seeking compassionate Evening Residential Support Specialists to help adults with IDD evenings. You’ll assist with routines, meals, personal care, and independent living skills, working within a supportive team and paid training.

Opportunities are available for full-time and part-time roles, with a schedule 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, weekend requirements, and competitive hourly pay. Earn while making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with up to five points.
• Successfully complete all required background checks and onboarding.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism with flexibility and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with evening routines, meals, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping and daily living tasks.
• Keep residential settings clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Encourage healthy routines and independence while honoring personal preferences.
• Support participation in hobbies, community activities, and goal progress.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates with the team and families.
