Pittsburgh Mercy, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Residential Direct Care Advisor in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department in Pittsburgh. The role centers on hands-on support, daily living assistance, and advocacy to empower residents.

You will work evenings, develop individualized care plans, coordinate with families and a multidisciplinary team, and help residents engage in community activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 1 year direct care experience.
• Valid driver license and ability to drive organization vehicle.
• Access to transportation locally.
• Act 33/34/73 clearances.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Physical/TB.
• Must complete Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Provide hands-on daily living assistance and support to residents.
• Offer emotional and behavioral support and de-escalation as needed.
• Facilitate community engagement and recreational activities for residents.
• Advocate for residents and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
