Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Residential Care Advisor-Medical & Financial in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department. This direct care role provides hands-on support to residents, coordinating medical needs and financial resources to promote health and stability.

Responsibilities include ISP implementation, documentation, collaboration with families and providers, and assisting with staff orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma/Equivalence with 1 year of paid social services experience.
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive an organization vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance, emotional and behavioral support, and implement ISPs to promote independence and well-being.
• Coordinate medical appointments and financial resources (SSI, DPW, Medicare, Rent Rebates) and complete medication documentation, annual assessments, money management assessments.
• Maintain accurate communication logs and behavior notes; collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical assistance to other staff and assist with orientation of new employees.
