Job summary

The Bristal At Armonk in Armonk, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity. You’ll be a friendly, familiar face, assisting with ADLs and guiding residents through daily activities to enhance quality of life.

This full-time role includes a weekend rotation and requires CNAs or Home Health Aides who speak English, with patience and a calm demeanor.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
Must be able to speak and read in English.
Geriatric population experience preferred, with ADL assistance.
Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
Patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations.
Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor.
Respect for the elderly and remaining calm at all times.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
Support residents in achieving physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
Provide support in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
Follow policies and procedures and directives from Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
