Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
• Must speak/read English.
• Geriatric care experience preferred for ADL support.
• Able to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Patient, calm and respectful with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Helping out in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing.
• Following all policies, procedures and the Nurse Shift Supervisor's and Director of Wellness's instructions.
