The Bristal Assisted Living in Armonk, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity and respect. You’ll be a familiar face helping residents enjoy each day.

Full-time shifts include weekend work and evenings, with adherence to Wellness team policies and directing nurses as needed. English proficiency and CNA-based qualifications are required.

Qualificações

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric population and ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
• Reliability, caring and gentle demeanor.
• Respect for the elderly and staying calm in all situations.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Helping out as needed in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents.
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness.
