Job summary

The Bristal At Armonk in Armonk, NY is seeking a caring Resident Services Aide for a part-time 3-11PM shift, Monday and Friday-Saturday. You will provide hands-on care, assist with ADLs, and help residents enjoy daily activities in a respectful, dignified manner.

Qualifying CNAs or PCA/HHA certifications are preferred; English proficiency required. The role includes on-site work with weekend coverage and ongoing collaboration with nursing staff to ensure resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide required.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred, assisting with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Basic understanding of dementia; patient and professional in redirecting residents.
• Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations positively.
• Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor.
• Respect for the elderly and staying calm at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving emotional, physical and psycho-social wellbeing.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
