Job summary

The Bristal at Armonk in Armonk, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity. You will be a friendly and familiar face to residents, assisting with daily living activities and supporting safety and comfort in the community.

This part-time on-site role requires CNA/PCA/HHA certification, English fluency, and experience with geriatric care. You will follow care plans, escort residents to meals and activities, and help maintain

Qualifications

Must have CNA / PCA / HHA certification.
Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Experience with geriatric population preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
Basic understanding of dementia; patient and professional demeanor.
Able to adapt to different personalities and situations.
Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
Support residents in achieving highest possible physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
Assist in Wellness area to help ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents.
Follow all policies and procedures and the directions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
