Job summary

The Bristal at Armonk in Armonk, NY is seeking a compassionate Resident Services Aide for Saturday evening shift (3PM-11PM). The role involves hands-on care, helping residents with daily living activities and ensuring safety and comfort in a welcoming, home-like setting.

Schedule: Saturday, 3PM-11PM. Qualified candidates include CNAs, Personal Care Attendants, or Home Health Aides who can communicate in English, have experience with geriatric care and dementia, and can follow care plans.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Previous experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines. Basic understanding of dementia.
• Must always be reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness.
