Job summary

The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Division is seeking a Night Receptionist for the Harbor Light Outpatient Department. The role includes receiving clients attending evening treatment activities, directing them to groups and individual counseling, and supporting general receptionist duties and evening cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities also cover filing, preparing reports, and maintaining communication with therapists and staff as needed to support the clinic's operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year receptionist or social service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• General receptionist responsibility for the Outpatient Clinic between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (hours 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).
• Relaying telephone and other messages to staff.
• Files are maintained and rooms set up for group meetings.
• Data entry of client and billing information into Excel for reporting.
• Provide additional receptionist coverage at Harbor Light Residential desk as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
