Job summary

Project HOME is seeking an Evening Receptionist for the Hub of Hope in Philadelphia. You will greet participants, answer calls, make referrals, and support shelter transports at day’s end.

The role includes clerical tasks in Excel and data entry in HMIS/Webfocus, with a focus on trauma-informed care and respectful customer service. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of performing clerical duties in a social services setting.
• Excellent listening, communication, and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to deal with resistance effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous and welcoming presence at the reception desk at all times.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls and take messages.
• Accept and distribute donations and provide donation receipts as necessary.
• Maintain electronic sign-up sheets for showers, laundry and resource coordination appointments in Excel.
• Complete data entry into Webfocus, HMIS, etc. as required.
• Maintain a shelter transport list and direct participants to shelter transports at end of each day.
• Monitor security cameras and notify appropriate personnel if concerns arise.
• Remain aware of foot traffic and ensure safety at all times.
