Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in Rhode Island seeks a Receiving Administrator for our DC to ensure accurate processing of BOLs, packing slips and electronic store communications using PKMS and JDA. This fast-paced role interfaces with drivers and multiple internal teams to support inventory control and distribution efficiency.

You will verify documents, update plans, coordinate with Accounts Payable, and help resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with receiving processes and EDI helpful.
• Proficient with RF scan tools and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Accept and verify shipment paperwork from drivers.
• Verify BOL, packing slips, and appointment details.
• Update Dropboard and track shipments in PKMS/JDA.
• Coordinate with Buying, Replenishment and Transportation teams.
• Communicate inbound requirements and exceptions to stakeholders.
• Update daily unload plan to align with deliveries.
• Interact with carriers and vendors; support EDI communications.
• Prepare details for containers and live schedules daily.
• Assist with returns and damaged claims processing.
• Review and reconcile PO details with partners.
