Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in North Kingstown, RI, seeks a Transportation Operations Admin to support outbound dispatch, driver coordination, and essential admin logs. You will maintain clear communication with drivers, the DC team, and third‑party carriers to ensure timely shipment processing.

Responsibilities include updating daily reports, validating preload and BOL documentation, and coordinating schedule changes in dispatch and MATM/D Runs systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in transportation, logistics, routing, or scheduling preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with drivers and carriers to ensure timely shipment processing.
• Update daily operational reports and logs (Pallet Backlog, Shipment Cancellation).
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight, scheduling, and vendor readiness.
• Support dispatcher activities and prepare driver paperwork like BOLs and trip sheets.
