Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Receiver for our Distribution Center in Rhode Island. You will use an RF scanner to process merchandise, unload shipments, and verify items against worksheets while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Applicants should be able to operate powered equipment, inspect freight for damage, and maintain accurate productivity records. English communication is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Training will be provided on site.

Qualifications

• English literacy required; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Prior experience in receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise using RF scanner and enter into WMS.
• Unload trailers and containers and verify items against worksheets.
• Inspect for damage and report discrepancies.
• Build pallets safely and maintain organized workspace.
• Follow SOPs, audits, OSHA rules, and safety standards.
