Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Transportation Operations Admin to support outbound dispatch and driver communications, maintain essential logs, and ensure accurate transportation documents. You will coordinate with drivers, DC operations, inbound/outbound teams and carriers, update daily reports, manage schedule changes in MATM/DB Runs, and help keep shipments moving efficiently.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–3:30/4 PM) and comprehensive OSJL

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in transportation/logistics preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform.

Responsibilities

• Support outbound dispatch and drivers; maintain logs and prepare documents.
• Communicate with drivers, DC operations, inbound/outbound teams and carriers.
• Update daily reports and preload lists; ensure timely system updates (DB Runs, MATM).
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight scheduling, tendering, tracking and appointments.
• Maintain core transportation databases and driver records.
