Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Admin to support outbound dispatch and driver communications. You will maintain essential logs, manage driver paperwork, and ensure timely flow of transport documents across the network.

You will coordinate with DC Operations, inbound and shipping teams, and third-party carriers while updating daily reports and system data in MATM and related tools. This is a first-shift, full-time role in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year in transportation, logistics, routing, or scheduling is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support outbound dispatch and drivers, maintaining essential logs.
• Coordinate driver paperwork check-in and BOLs, ensuring accurate records.
• Update daily operational reports and preload lists.
• Maintain system updates in dispatch and TMS (DB Runs, MATM).
• Communicate with DC Operations, stores, and carriers to resolve issues.
