Jabil is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to manage on-site production activities in Florence, KY. You will oversee processes, prioritize production, and support the Supervisor in achieving efficient operations.

The role requires a couple of years on the production floor, leadership exposure, and strong Excel/Office skills. On-site shift coverage and collaboration with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Applied Science, or an Engineering discipline preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• At least 2 years’ experience on the Production Floor or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
• At least 1 year of Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations is a plus.
• Experience with financial and analytical ability is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee production processes and assist the Supervisor in setting production priorities.
• Monitor materials and carts, ensuring proper labeling of unidentified items.
• Escalate issues to closure when uncertain and hold teams to documented processes.
• Observe operators against visual aids and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Review production and quality reports to identify root causes of nonconformities.
• Promote inclusive leadership and open communication within the team.
