Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for on-site work in Florence, KY. You will oversee production processes, help set priorities, and support the Supervisor to maintain efficient operations and cost control.

The role requires 2+ years on the production floor and at least 1 year of leadership experience, with strong PC skills and a focus on safety and quality. This is an on-site position with multiple shift coverage options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Applied Science, or an Engineering discipline preferred; HS diploma required.
• At least 2 years' experience on the Production Floor or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations is a plus.
• Experience with financial and analytical ability is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor materials and carts; ensure labeling on the shop floor and escalate issues to closure.
• Observe an operator; compare to the visual aid and investigate discrepancies.
• Hold indirect/direct labor teams accountable to the documented process.
• Escalate any issues you're unsure how to handle.
• Adhere to company policies on privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Demonstrate leadership with tact, empathy, and open communication.
• Turn in training sign-off sheets within 24 hours of new JDOC release.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
• Review production, quality, maintenance, and operations reports to identify nonconformities.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
