Job summary

Butterball is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead day-to-day activities on a production line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met across multiple NC facilities. The role emphasizes coaching, adherence to USDA/HACCP guidelines, and driving continuous improvement through Butterball Operating System Solutions (BOSS).

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, a focus on safety, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, SOPs and ability to learn quickly.
Proficient in safety best practices.
Leadership with ability to coach, guide, support, and motivate a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid data review, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Supervises day-to-day activities of a team and provides guidance to ensure task completion.
Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed; conducts on-the-floor audits.
Models policy compliance including USDA, OSHA, DOL, EEOC, HACCP, etc.
Manages labor, tools, supplies, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
Maintains production records and department reports; identifies gaps and improvement needs.
Participates in investigations and department/facility meetings.
