Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (HTL Production Supervisor) to lead safety, quality, and productivity in our manufacturing facility. The role reports to the HTL Production Manager and oversees production teams with a focus on operational excellence, scheduling, and compliance.

The position requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, a background in printing processes, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; on-site location in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or related field) preferred.
• Leadership: 5+ years of production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Background: Experience in printing processes (HTL, screen press, or graphic printing) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Supervision: Manage personnel, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Performance Management: Use the Global Performance Management System to set goals and track development.
• Training: Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training opportunities.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage timekeeping, overtime, vacation scheduling, and labor allocation.
• Workflow Optimization: Adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions and maximize capacity.
• Inventory & Logistics: Supervise warehouse operations and analyze inventory reports.
• Quality & Safety: Lead safety and quality initiatives and audits.
