Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per MAR under physician orders and Wellness Director supervision.
• Order meds from the pharmacy 7 days prior to running out and ensure timely delivery; notify if delayed.
• Document medications immediately after administration with date and initials.
• Observe and report adverse reactions/side effects to licensed nurses.
• Take and record vital signs prior to administration when required by physician orders.
• Report any medication errors immediately to Wellness Director.
• Assist with care plan development and uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and safety.
