Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a PRN QMAP for evening shifts in our memory care community. The role administers and documents medications per physician orders and state regulations, under supervision of the Wellness Director. You will learn each resident’s med preferences and support safe, respectful care.

Requirements include CO QMAP, First Aid certification, and a high school diploma. Prior senior living experience is preferred; benefits include a comprehensive package for eligible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• QMAP in CO and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience in senior living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per orders and five rights.
• Order medications to ensure availability and notify if delays occur.
• Document medications given immediately in resident records.
• Monitor for reactions and report side effects to licensed staff.
• Record vital signs before meds that affect vitals as ordered.
• Assist with care plans and maintain resident privacy and dignity.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure resident safety.
