Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a part-time QMAP nurse for memory care to safely administer medications and provide personal nursing care to residents. The role requires handling MAR/TAR records, inventory management, and ensuring daily documentation with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include medication administration, MAR comparison during shift changes, narcotics counting, and routine nursing tasks such as vital signs and hygiene

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a senior care setting.
• State-specific QMAP certificate required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and positive demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely following the 6 rights of medication administration.
• Count and document narcotics administered to residents.
• Manage total medication inventory including ordering, receiving, storing, and discarding medications.
• Note discrepancies in inventory and report to appropriate parties.
• Daily cleaning of medicine carts and weekly deep cleaning of carts.
• Verify MARs against new MARs at changeover time.
• Provide personal care to residents as needed (bathing, grooming, incontinence care, etc.).
• Provide general nursing care (vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, weights).
• Document information in the daily log.
