Job summary

MorningStar of Parker in Parker, CO is seeking a Med Care Manager/QMAP for part-time shifts, including Sundays, to administer and document medications per physician orders under the Wellness Director.

You will ensure accurate MAR documentation, order meds timely, monitor residents, observe reactions, take vital signs, and support care plans, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, HSA, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• State-approved Medication Administration training completed.
• First Aid certification as required by ALF regulations.
• QMAP in CO.
• Minimum high school diploma; experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred.
• Ability to read and write English; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications per MAR under Wellness Director.
• Order meds from pharmacy 7 days prior to running out; ensure availability.
• Document medications in medical records after administration; initial bubble pack.
• Observe and report side effects of medications to licensed nurse.
• Take and record vital signs prior to administration; follow physician orders.
• Assist with care plans and daily resident care tasks.
