Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Prep Cook in Michigan to support our dining team serving residents in a restaurant-style setting called the Bread Basket. The role involves meal prep, timely service, adherence to recipes, and interaction with residents to enhance their dining experience.

The position offers a full benefits package for eligible employees and daily pay options. Evening shifts are available, and 15/hr starting pay is highlighted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menu, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and plated properly.
• Ensure kitchen processes are followed during service.
• Interact with residents to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans per kitchen procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use Meal Order Information to follow diets, allergies, and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory and policy requirements.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness for compliance.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
