Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in delivering a restaurant-style dining experience, the Bread Basket, for our residents. You will prepare meals, serve them promptly, and interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.

The role emphasizes following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to dietary specifications and regulatory requirements. As part of a caring team, you will work full-time, with a path to benefits and daily pay

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford's menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Follow Bickford's kitchen and dining procedures during service.
• Interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes and following schedules.
• Track diets, allergies, and preferences using Meal Order Information forms.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Stock Bistro/Beverage Bar with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
