Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled welder for second shift in Libertyville, IL. You will perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding to exact specs, interpret layouts, and inspect welds to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include setting up fixtures, selecting parameters, repairing components, and maintaining finish standards. Overtime may apply with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to interpret work orders, layouts, welding diagrams, and symbols.
• Background from prior welding roles or relevant technical training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and secure components in jigs; clamp to layout marks.
• Select process parameters, consumables, and equipment per material/specs.
• Weld MIG and TIG with consistent quality; perform tack, vertical, and overhead joins.
• Self-inspect welds for bead size, appearance, and conformance to requirements.
• Repair cracks or worn parts; grind, blend, and remove slag to finish.
• Follow quality, process, and safety procedures at all times.
