Job summary

3G MIG & TIG Welder (2nd shift) position in Schaumburg, IL, focusing on diverse fabrication projects across multiple industries. You will weld with MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, guided by blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities include precision measuring, inspection for quality, and collaboration with production and quality teams to ensure project success; a safe, organized workspace is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a 3G weld test.
• Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience.
• Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
• Welding certifications (preferred).
• Sheet metal experience (preferred).
• Experience with multiple welding processes (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Weld on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components using MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick.
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly.
• Use precision measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and specification requirements.
• Perform fabrication and sheet metal work as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure project success.
