Job summary

gpac is seeking experienced welders for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in the Schaumburg area. You will read prints, fit parts accurately, and perform MIG/TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Inspect your own work to maintain high quality standards while contributing to a modern fabrication environment.

The role offers shift premium on off-shifts and the chance to work with advanced equipment in a stable company focused on challenging projects and growth for skilled welders.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and fabricating parts from prints.
• Ability to pass a 3G weld test is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and fit parts from blueprints.
