Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Wisconsin is hiring a skilled welder to assemble precision metal weldments on the shop floor. You will study prints, set up MIG/TIG welding parameters, and weld standardized and custom parts using fixtures to ensure fit-up and quality.

You’ll verify work against procedures, adjust machine settings for material changes, collaborate with leads and peers, troubleshoot equipment, and complete paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong math capability and clear communication.
• Confident reading blueprints and process documentation; fluent with a tape measure.
• Fluent with a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Study samples, drawings, and process docs before welding.
• Set up MIG/TIG welds with correct heat, wire, and electrodes.
• Run MIG/TIG welds on machines for repetitive and custom builds.
• Verify work against procedures and quality system.
• Fine-tune machine parameters for material changes.
• Collaborate with Leads and fellow welders.
• Troubleshoot equipment to keep production moving.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and document daily work.
• Keep station orderly and clean at end of shift.
