Hei Hotels Inc. is seeking a PM Cook for our CURRENT restaurant in Chicago, on-site at The Wade hotel. The role requires preparing food to consistent quality, following recipes, and supporting kitchen operations during the PM shift and weekends.

Ideal candidates have hotel or culinary settings experience, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs as needed. Join a team known for its seasonal American cuisine and vibrant bar scene while maintaining safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items in advance and manage production to avoid over-preparation.
• Date and rotate perishables; maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan prep, and set up line accordingly.
• Ensure buffet is stocked and shortages are flagged.
• Assist in correcting food cost, waste, and usage as per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Attend regularly and be available for PM shift and weekends.
