Job summary

Labcorp in Dorchester, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced lab setting.

The role supports additional sites as needed; schedule is Monday–Friday 4:00 pm–8:30 pm with rotating Saturdays. Requires high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training; prior LabCorp experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
