Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Worcester, MA team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, prepare specimens, and maintain accurate patient information.

You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, handle data entry, and may travel to additional sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification; Labcorp values experience in pediatric phlebotomy and a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training.
• 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist preferred; pediatric phlebotomy experience encouraged.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency acceptable in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
