Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Phlebotomist/Central Processing Tech for a part-time evening shift (4pm-8:30pm), 20 hours per week. The role leverages phlebotomy experience to collect samples, identify patients, and support lab operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Register, order, collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for lab testing.
• Use computer systems and perform data entry for specimen tracking.
• Serve as central communications hub for lab requests and reporting results.
