Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current MA Pharmacy Technician registration with no disciplinary actions.
• National certification (CPhT).
• Must understand operations of the Pharmacy Department including Omnicell, Epic and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily workload to align with department needs.
• Prepacks non-unit-dose oral medications for dispensing.
• Aseptically prepares intravenous medications within required time.
• Uses aseptic technique and appropriate PPE for chemotherapy handling."
• Fills medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Performs dispensing to Omnicell cabinets accurately.
• Stock medications and verifies inventory.
• Inspects areas for outdated drugs.
• Answers department calls courteously and promptly.
• Assists with special projects and deadlines.
• Delivers medications to patient care areas in a timely manner.
