Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
• PTCB Certification (CPhT) required.
• 1–2 years hospital-related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform dosage calculations and aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of regulations for controlled substances.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform dosage calculations to prepare non-sterile dosage forms under pharmacist supervision.
• Adhere to safety requirements for handling medications.
• Prepare compounded sterile products and manage controlled substances per regulations.
• Assist with training Pharmacy Technician Trainees.
• Understand medication labeling, drug identifications, and storage practices.
