Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the North Shore Medical Center site. The role supports the preparation and distribution of unit dose medications and outpatient prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, with emphasis on safe handling and accuracy.

Requirements include a Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB certification. Experience in hospital settings is preferred. Onsite work at 81 Highland Avenue with a 40-hour week and rotating shifts.

Formación

• Performs intermediate mathematical calculations for non-sterile extemporaneous products and other doses.
• Follows state and federal controlled substance regulations.
• Familiar with area-specific technology including robotics, automation, software, equipment and information systems.
• Reads and follows complex instructions to prepare medications in sterile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare extemporaneous dosage forms under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Handle safety requirements for non-hazardous medications.
• Assist with training Pharmacy Technician Trainees and participate in department projects.
