Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient settings. You will assist pharmacists, deliver medication services to patients, and help ensure accuracy in drug distribution systems while supporting take-home medication processes.

The role requires certification/registration with the Ohio Board, willingness to travel to satellite locations, and strong communication with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
18+ with no felony convictions per Ohio law.
Meets one of the following certifications: PTCB, ExCPT, or OSBP registration.
Meets one of the following: registered as a Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy and/or becomes certified within 90 days.
Willing to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
Provide medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
Support quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
Uphold MetroHealth System mission, values, and service standards.
