Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years, especially in long-term care).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision with accuracy.
• Label, scan, and finalize orders for verification.
• Maintain organized workspaces and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Process returned drugs and manage stock during low-volume times.
• Assist in pre-packing, labeling, and stocking as needed.
