Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Clinton, MA is seeking a Registration Representative on a per-diem basis for second and third shifts. This on-site role requires 2–4 shifts per month, with a 4–8 hour mixed shift and training in Worcester for 3–4 days.

You will enter Lab, Radiology and ancillary appointments, verify insurance, obtain referrals and authorizations, and collect patient liabilities. You’ll also notify patients, mail information, and maintain accurate records as part of a patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field.

Responsibilities

• Enter Lab, Radiology and basic ancillary service appointments to schedules.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations/referrals as needed.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service and maintain accurate records.
