Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Hospital Concierge for the West Medicine Unit on the Evening Shift (35 hours). The role supports patient care activities by maintaining patient records, supplies, and the environment, coordinating with unit staff and other departments, and communicating accurately with the health care team, patients, families, and visitors.

Qualified candidates demonstrate a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort with hospital technology and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with hospital systems, email, intranet, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in arriving patients promptly and cordially.
• Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments.
• Communicate clearly and accurately with health care team, patients, families and visitors.
• Perform service functions including triaging and answering calls.
• Assist with concerns and use of MyWall.
• Work under direct supervision and uphold NYULH Core Values.
