Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience, or CNA graduate with EKG/Phlebotomy coursework and PCT cert eligible.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nurse in patient care tasks with safe, compassionate care.
• Support unit supplies, equipment, and environment safety.
• Collect data for Quality Improvement and patient satisfaction.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Support infection prevention and control standards.
• Respond to patient call lights and assist with personal care.
