NYU Langone Health is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Technician/Senior Nursing Attendant for the HCC 10 Psychiatry unit on the Evening Shift. The role supports licensed nurses in patient care, safety, and family communication, with emphasis on compassionate, quality care during hospitalization.

Responsibilities include assisting with data collection for quality initiatives, maintaining unit cleanliness, and responding to patient needs while adhering to NYU Langone Core Values and infection

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with hospital experience or CNA with EKG/Phlebotomy training.
• BLS/CPR certification required on entry or within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks and maintain safety and supplies.
• Support unit operations, patient privacy, and dignity.
• Participate in data collection for quality and performance improvement.
