Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Leominster, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for the 3:00pm-11:30pm shift in the Med Surg Unit. You will assist with patient care, monitor vital signs, and support daily living activities under supervision of licensed staff.

Required: high school diploma or GED and current BLS; strong English communication and basic computer skills. Prior PCT experience preferred; signing bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN regarding patient observations.
• Maintain patient safety and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist in moving, lifting and positioning patients using proper body mechanics.
• Take vital signs and support basic laboratory and specimen tasks.
