Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience preferred.
• Three to five (3-5) years of Patient Registration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the hospital's information system.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Patient Access staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient registration.
• Manages human resources, including evaluations, hiring/termination, and performance coaching.
• Develops staff through orientation, goals, training needs, and cross-training.
• Utilizes technology for payroll, absence tracking, and hospital information systems.
• Demonstrates leadership during codes and enforces safety and policy procedures.

Education

Two years of college preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
