Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Access in Silver Spring for the Emergency Center. You will supervise patient registration operations across all shifts, ensuring accurate admission processing and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in patient registration and health care setting; three to five (3-5) years of hospital experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all operational activities for Patient Registration for all shifts in Emergency Center.
• Assists in development, implementation and enforcement of departmental objectives, programs and processes.
• Coordinates admitting procedures with other departments.
• Implements admission policies with accurate registration; assists onboarding for new staff.
• Performs technical duties of supervised staff as needed; maintains data accuracy.
