Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring seeks a Supervisor, Patient Access to oversee patient registration operations across all shifts in the Emergency Department. The role coordinates with the Patient Access Director and Registration Manager, ensuring accurate admissions and policy implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year supervisory experience in patient registration, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in patient registration/healthcare setting (1+ year)
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting patient access

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Patient Registration operations for all shifts in the Emergency Center.
• Assist Director and Manager in developing and enforcing departmental objectives, programs, and processes.
• Coordinate admitting procedures with other departments.
• Implement admission policies through accurate registration; onboard new staff.
• Perform technical duties of supervised staff (Patient Registration Representatives I & II, Insurance Verification Representatives).
• Other duties as assigned.
