Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Representative to welcome patients and gather essential information from arrival through the completion of visits. You will support registration, verify insurance, and collect payments, while upholding exceptional service standards.

The role includes Epic-based registration and cross-training across patient access areas. The position involves evening shifts (3:00pm–11:00pm), every other weekend and holidays, with two weeks of mandatory Epic training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with two years of customer-facing experience, or an Associate's Degree with one year of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within one year.
• Basic PC software and ability to use multiple data systems; excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, medical and financial information.
• Cross-train to cover front desk, admitting, ED, and cash register operations.
• Function as Super User and train new caregivers in Epic.
• Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
