Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative - Registration (Evenings) to support pre-registration and registration processes across multiple locations within the system. This role includes insurance verification, precertification, document completion, POS collections, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a busy setting.

The position is part-time, evening shift, not remote, with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent public relations skills; pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with the public, including irate individuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with coworkers, hospital staff and patients.
• One year of customer service experience preferred; knowledge of ICD-9/CPT-4 coding and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient intake through pre-registration, registration, insurance, precertification verification, and document completion.
• Handle POS collections and review work output; operate across PAS tasks including call center and bedside duties.
